Does the Odell drama give that some merit?

Should former players have less “open” access to current players moving forward?

Should have been and probably was case-by-case anyway. OBj probably messed it up for himself, but there were 20+ former players there that just enjoyed the ride. Should not change their standing/status at all.

Of course that's why he did it.

Orgeron brings this Miami/USC brash mentality. It can be a blessing and a curse. LSU wasn't like that before. They backed it up every time but I'm personally not a fan of that trash talking mentality.

CEO has set a precedent that once you are a Tiger, you are a Tiger forever.

There is a reason these players want to run through a brick wall for CEO. He loves them, and they want to give back to the program.

What OBJ did was beyond moronic.

Bobby Hebert was on the radio yesterday, the OBJ wouldn't be invited back unless he apologized. He supposedly interrupted Coach O victory speech to the team on multiple occasions.

This is fine...

OBJ is an exception, not the rule...

There are guys that have parlayed their careers into other things, that mentorship is invaluable...

OBJ is just OBJ right now

My guess is OBJ lost his privileges of being around the team.

I'd suspect that anyone else that acts inappropriately or does inappropriate things would also lose their privileges

Absolutely. DW40, Peterson, Fournette, and Landry were all there. No problems.

I remember Tyrann and the boys always on the sideline during warmup talking trash to opponents receivers.

We talk trash. And we back it up.

Lol fricking Ezekiel Elliot was there. OBJ was the only problem.

This was disputed by one of the staffers. Orgeron encouraged former players to talk in the locker room after the game.

No. Former players just need to use common sense and not be fricking stupid.

Should be case by head case. No on the head case, of course.

OBJ is a dumass and is the exception. All the former player at the game on Monday and he was the only one to act a fool. I know Booger on Twitter already voiced his displeasure about OBJ on Monday.

I have a semi-devil's advocate question for the board:

Where was compliance?

They seem to be all up in arms over some things, but Shaq can't get hugs and this guy has free reign with no one even attempting to reign it in?

Great job Bahansen. Super. fricktard.

I remember the last time we were in the NC game our players trash talked bama players as they entered the field pregame. Then they kicked out arse.

What OBJ did was out of bounds.

But I don't care to frame things going forward in cemented absolutes.

OBJ should issue a statement of apology (to LSU and police - caught up in the euphoria) and LSU likewise (appreciate the involvement of former players, highlight their giving back, and note we will stay within the bounds set by the NCAA).

And we lived happily ever after!
