I thought LF was a good college back but he lacked the vision that great to good ones had to be successful in the NFL. As a jags fan I got to see first hand how he seemed to always pick a hole that led to him being tackled when there was a hole wide open to the left or right and he didn't see it. I remember Fred Taylor calling this out during a jag game that he was a analyst for. Glad he got a ring and had a decent career in the NFL.

Exactly this. Jags did the same damn thing to him, and he was such a gamer he went with it full bore.

Many in this thread either don’t remember or didn’t know he was bowling over nfl defenders for a couple years too. They just wore him out. I think he could have been an nfl great in a better system.

Where does he rank among LSU RBs in the NFL for alltime rushing yards? #2 behind Jim Taylor?
3rd in rush yards (behind Taylor and Van Buren). 9th in all-purpose yards.

He’s not actually. Henry is bigger, marginally slower, had better combine metrics than Fournette and has had a dominant career as a running back in the NFL averaging a full yard per carry more than Fournette. Love Lenny, but Henry has been a much more effective by every metric.

Henry can't even lead his team to a superbowl win

Tom Coughlin ran Leonard into an offensive line that was worse than awful. It is pathetic the way Jacksonville treated Leonard. Look at the first few years in Jacksonville. Run Run Run more than Les Miles. Couglin abused Leonard.

Saban recruited him as a running back

His bully style didn’t translate to the league and going to the Jags when they were terrible didn’t help

Even in college, he didn’t seem to have great vision. But his running style was one that wasn’t as concerned with making the right cut - he felt like he could power through tackles rather than finding better running lanes to gain more yards.

Nah. Fournette jumped like 28” at the combine. Henry had a 37” vert & like a 10’10” broad at 6’3” 247. He’s an edge rusher playing RB lol

At this juncture, this is less than sober. At one time I thought LF was just better than DH. But now, you may be one of about a dozen fans that still think this.

Henry may well make it to Canton. I doubt LF has any chance to get there.

Not really. Sometimes when it comes to thd NFL it's luck of the draw. You have to be on the right team, right coaches, right system, etc. If he would have been drafted to Baltimore, he probably would have had alot more success.

I have no clue why Tigerdroppings insists on shitting on LF7 like they do. He is, and should always be remembered as one of LSU’s all time great running backs

You do know Tom Coughlin was long gone when Leonard was with Jacksonville right
