the host noted that Kiffin and coach O talk weekly.

so the rumors posted recently that Orgeron and Kiffin's relationship wasn't great was full of shite?

Kiffen is fluffing us up so he'll be the top candidate for the HC position if/when O flames out or the OC position if Lane flames out as HC at Florida Atlantic.

I have been saying this with NO AUTHORITY or KNOWLEDGE whatsoever, that my instincts tell me that SE was requested to take over the OC position as a temporary placeholder as it were.
To bring Kiffin in later....or someone ??

It just has not made sense that SE who has not wanted the full time responsibilities for a long time, would now accept a LONG TIME full time position.

Either this next year or the next one SE will return to enjoying his coaching on a part-time basis and someone else will come in....just my instinct.

Plus, last year at Florida Atlantic, he had a freshman QB who threw a bunch of picks, yet still had a top 15 offense. Kiffen's issues have been on defense, which was ranked near the bottom of FBS and riddled with injuries. If he recruits decently, they'll be back in contention next year.

You are pretty much answering your own question. FAU doesn’t have the money or facilities to compete with upper tier teams. Same holds true with recruiting. Not many recruits are going to chose FAU over other in state schools like Miami, FSU, UF, etc. The fact that Kiffin has been able to keep this team competitive is miraculous in itself, given the obstacles to overcome.

I would love to have him as the OC in the future, sooner rather than later.

What idiot would think that was a good move for a program like LSU to employ?

Kiffin's easiest and quickest ticket onto a HC position in a power conference is thru his friend's help Coach O.

That was O and Freeze. He's always been close with Kiffin.

He does not have the athletes he had at Tenn, USC or Bama. Good players make a coach look a lot better. Example: Les Miles.

Did you hear all the Orgeron interviews when White got suspended? He acted like he never thought twice about it and it was deserved.

I was pissed he was so indifferent about it but it was the right way to go about it.

Kiffin and LSU would both benefit from him coaching the offense at LSU.

Finishing 5-7 and 3-5 in conference, Joey Freshwater needs to spend more time working on his team and less time trolling. And stay as far away from LSU as humanly possible.
