FWIW, he said it was a bet with Knox that he couldn't stay off social media.

His competitiveness took over from there.

SEC fuuuct.

I'd rather he just coach football, win games and stay off the silly social media stuff.

Damn. What the heck! Where did my comment go?

I didn’t think it broke any of the rules or violations?

That’s not who we hired. It’s all one big package. To recruit, win, and talk shite on twitter. Want him to quit yoga and pickle ball too?

Was that the real reason why he went on social media hiatus? I guess I missed it.

take it from someone that is old where this topic and others are important to brain health. Read books and stay off of social media like TikTok and Instagram.
People absolutely cannot multitask like we think except on extremely routine functions where it runs in parallel like walking and chewing gum. . Read a little on how the brain actually works. It is called task switching and it destroys your productivity for tasks like he is performing. You want to know why we have an increase in ADHD, look no further than twitter, TikTok, Instagram and other platforms that produce short content. Watching that short content actually rewires the brain and cause a drop in focus.
Here is a little more on that topic:
“The brain is primarily linear and serial in how it processes complex thoughts. For most activities, the brain cannot truly multitask. Instead, what feels like multitasking is "task-switching," where the brain rapidly jumps between tasks. This causes delays and reduces overall efficiency. However, a strict rule applies depending on how well the task has been mastered:
1. Complex/Conscious Tasks: LinearThe prefrontal cortex—the area responsible for complex problem-solving, planning, and focus—is inherently inflexible and handles only one demanding task at a time. When you juggle two complex tasks, your brain creates a "bottleneck," and the quality of both tasks drops.
2. Overlearned/Subconscious Tasks: ParallelThe brain can achieve true multitasking for highly ingrained, automated routines (like walking while chewing gum or knitting while listening to a podcast). Intensive practice allows the brain to "rewire" itself, shifting the task from the prefrontal cortex to other areas like the temporal cortex, making it subconscious.

Why Task-Switching is Costly
Switching Costs:
Every time your brain changes focus, it undergoes cognitive changes that take time and mental energy to reload.

Reduced Productivity:
The American Psychological Association notes that constant task-switching and background distractions can cause productivity to drop by up to 40%.
Stress
:
Rapid shifting interferes with ongoing cognitive processing and increases the brain's baseline stress level.”

Spoke to someone on the media team at a kids birthday party. He said they aren't used to having coaches post their own social media content. Having trouble corralling Land and Wade.

I’m sure Bonnette just has to roll with it now. For better or worse, he’s great at getting engagement numbers.
