Lane Kiffin bringing in the celebrities to try and build a mid 2000s USC vibe

Theo Vonn, Livvy Dunne, and Brooks Nader walking down Victory Hill with Kiffin is building a brand. USC used to have celebs like Snoop Dogg and Will Farrell hanging around on the sidelines, and I am expecting to see a bunch of celebrities hanging around LSU for the foreseeable future with Lane Kiffin.
No one cares what the Pat Forde and Ross Dellenger's of the world think. He's making LSU cool to be associated with.

That's pretty much what Joel Klatt said on his show this morning. Lane was building a program with the vibe of the Carroll USC team that approaches football like a Saban team.
He is surrounded by celebrities, meanwhile in his end of half interview while up 31-3, he's complaining about turnovers and mistakes.

None of these would I call a “celebrity.” One of them comes kinda close.

Lane is the college football Tony Stark

CLK has repeatedly said that winning is the main goal of a program but being entertaining is high on his charts as well.

Jamarcus Russel, Jordan Jefferson, Brandon Jacobs, JJettas, CEH, were all athletes I saw mentioned as being there.

Are we pretending that a home LSU football game isn't one of the top athletic events of the year?

I would call them somewhat famous people more than I would use the term celebrities. But I think it’s a good idea by Kiffin to keep the players loose and keep the excitement going for the recruits and people watching on TV. As long as they don’t get involved with the game or the players somehow, then I don’t see anything wrong with it.
He stated multiple times in the recent press conference that he’s trying to create a vibe and a feel for the “LSU experience“. So this is a piece of that.
