Looks like Lane was spending time at his home in Manhattan Beach, and in Cali, you have to pay for grocery bags, so he just took the whole basket instead.

Guess $91 million doesn't cover grocery bag cost

Players aren't cheap so we're going to have to cut corners.

I wouldn’t want to use those damn paper bags either. This really isn’t that ridiculous

In the words of Big Worm…. There’s “principalities” involved here.

The fact he is this frugal with frivolous spending in his personal life makes me think he and Billy G. are going to hold the line when it comes to overspending for a player.

100% a move I’d pull. The store limits your option by not having free bags, need to resolve the problem.

He owns a house in Manhattan Beach. That zip code has a higher price per square foot than Beverly Hills. Granted, he's probably owned it since he was at USC, but just saying, living there doesn't scream frugality.

Thats exactly what a Louisianan should do when facing the stupid laws in Cali. They can't do anything about it. Hell, they can't do anything if you don't pay for the groceries either. If approached, jist let them know you're from Louisiana, they'll assume you're stupid, but who's really the stupid one?

He has to save money for gas, it’s almost $6.00 a gallon in Manhattan and Hermosa Beach.

I agree with him it’s ridiculous ; you know how many things are made of plastic we throw away a million times a day as a whole.
