Lol I swear outrage culture has ruined the world.
He already graduated and he was about to get passed up on the depth chart. He isn’t going to play pro ball. It’s simply time for him to move on with his life. It’s not that fricking hard to understand or unreasonablene at all.
He did better than most of us expected but he had limitations. He recognized that and accepted it. Time to move on with life.

Because he could still be a part of something special? Not everybody solely thinks of me myself and I all the time.
He has already graduated, doesn't seem to be projected to be drafted and other RBs are jumping him on the depth chart.
He put in his time, got an education & now, since his role is diminishing then why not just move on with life? Why risk a serious injury?
This is really not as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.

Did I say any of that in my posts, assclown, besides, I'm only repeating what numerous people have already said on here, but I mean feel free to direct your stupidty towards me.

5 days ago: Fournette's production has declined each of his first four games as he deals with an undisclosed injury.

He'll probably go and work for big brother now. Lol The kid worked hard while at LSU, I commend him on that, but he was only on LSU's team because of that same big brother.

Always rooted for him and always will.
But as a father with sons his age, I would be disappointed if one of my boys just quit because his playing time was being taken by someone else. Maybe that is not the case, and I hope he is ok.
Life is hard. Things don't always work out. IMO, he should be there for his teammates for the next 3.5 months. If he was starting would he be leaving? Only Lanard knows. What if CEH goes down, and maybe Emory? His team will need him. You just never know. Keep your commitments was what most of us were taught. Maybe that is old school thinking.

I'm happy for him and I hate to say thi, but I'm excited because now it's just ceh, Curry and the 2frosh. 5 backs was too many to rotate. And I'm sure it was a combination of a lot of things why he left

He has my personal thanks and gratitude. Good luck to him.

He should have stayed on the team and won a ring.
Even though he didn’t play much he’d always be a national champion and people would love him where he went.
Now he’ll be the guy who quit during the national championship season.
No one will remember Lanard Fournette on this team. Whether we won an NC or not. Don't be stupid.

All that talk about making a name for himself was pure crap.
As far as I'm concerned, he already made a name for himself: dedicated LSU scholar/athlete who played at the highest level of college football; faithful team member w/ no reports of significant problems or troubles; although his playing time was limited, he played hard and didn't complain. He was not a star, but that's nothing to hold against him. Thanks, Lanard for your service. I hope you're equally successful at subsequent stages of life.

Well now he’s not on the team.

Best of luck Lanard. Wish you all the best
