sad part is that he was a Saints fan since they entered the NFL - loved Archie Manning. He died in the fall of '09 and didn't get to see them win their only Super Bowl later that season.

Damn, he deserved that too RIP

To the OP, lost mine in 2012 - miss him daily.

So sorry for your loss. This has always been a comfort to me as I hope it is for you:

The departed whom we now remember have entered into the peace of life eternal. They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed and in the hearts of those who cherish their memory. May the beauty of their life abide among us as a loving benediction

Another of the 'Greatest Generation' is gone. I lost my Dad in 1983 and I think about him everyday and what a fine man he was!

Lost my Dad a few years ago at 96. He also was a great Tiger.

BTW, you'll miss him and pick up the phone to call him many times. RIP and God bless.

Sorry for your loss, lost mine in 2024. It's comforting to know they are where we are all trying to end up, and being down here until we see them again will fly by compared to eternal salvation.

You have my condolences. It's sucks that his last baseball season was so crappy.
