so now we have other commishes, commish from the WAC no less, calling out the SEC commish/officials; now we know they really suck

They certainly do suck. Did you watch the video that the LA Tech guy posted earlier trying to defend the hit??? There were not only 1, but 2 officials that were looking RIGHT at the play. One was about ten feet from it and the other was about ten yards..Both of them watched TT nearly get his head ripped off and didn't make the call. Something really needs to be done about SEC officials. And it pisses me off even more that Slive claims that we have the best officials in the nation.

this is bullshite.. if it was a penalty, which i believe could be called either way, then the refs should be suspended. They are there to make correct calls and keep the players on the field safe. I have seen too many times this season. Something must be done about poor officiating.

Actually BOTH leagues have the benefit of replay and ONE league chose to do the right thing.
As in the Alabama game, the SEC had evidence of the wrong call but chose to pretend (again) that the call was correct.
Slive has chosen to take the positon that these issues will be addressed at the end of the season (here: pls READ: after the BCS selections).
The whole idea of this competition thingy is to make sure it is fair when the competition is actually underway. Instead Mr. Slive chooses to mock fans throughout the league who complain. Presumably, the fans of the schools do not count, nor issues of fairness in competition, as long as money is at stake for the league.

Toliver is probably 6'4"ish and Boyd is 5'10". Of course he has to leave the ground to deliver a big hit on a man that size
he has to leave the ground to lay a big hit on his head...not his body

No. Miles advised it was SEC crew. I guess you could say they're consistant in their incompetance.

I didn't recognize any of the officials in that game and assumed they were WAC. I think that's why the WAC commish got involved. I don't think he was calling out SEC officials as someone mentioned above. Maybe I'm wrong.

ETA : Thanks Randy

Is Shive going to fine the WAC for calling out the SEC officials?

Chad Jones does it all the time and Laron Landry did as well.

i cant say ive ever seen chad jones do this, but Laron Landry did plenty. And I loved having Laron on our team just so we didnt have to play against him but he had a reputation of being one of the dirtiest players in college football.

STark, read above your post - WAC Officials, not SEC.

But I can understand why you would think so!!
