It’s a little late. But sure. Good for him.

Oh I agree. But I’m not going to blame him for this particular game when I would’ve done the same damn thing.

Arnold is the future and PM pissed him off. He was gone after this year until PM decided to retire.

Knows he's stepping down, wants to leave on a positive note.

Pitcher throws a strike, then gets a mound visit?

If the players don’t show up with urgency and focus, that’s on PM as much as them. But maybe this message will resonate vs Bama and they’ll know he finally means business.

Sure. Take out Thompson but leave Bianco’s dumb arse in

That move makes no sense to me. I know Thompson made a couple of mistakes, but they weren't effort mistakes. Bianco standind flat-footed, waiting for the ball to come to him is an effort mistake. Mainieri is getting his "messages" backwards, in my opinion.

I wish Arnold would be the everyday 2nd baseman

He’s not better than Bianco, but okay. Flavor of the day. His average sucks; he doesn’t hit for power; and he boots the ball around.

Arnold would be so much better if Paul had just left him in the lineup the whole year. I will die on that hill.

He’s doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt from me anymore

He doesn’t get it from me either but when he does something I agree with I’m still going to agree with it. Do I wish he would’ve done this a month ago? Yep. Do I still want to replace him? Yep.

But I’ll still give kudos when they’re due. And yanking guys because they’re playing like they don’t care deserves a few kudos.

I’m not saying extend the guy. I’m just saying he did what needed to be done right now.

When Rollins is dropping in criticism of LSU during a game, you know things aren't going well.

Same. The gio/doughty injury days were where this season went off the rails. 100% on the coach.

Agreed. This is the last tool in the bag when he’s failed before the game. It’s still a tool though

Naw it's an "i dont know how to play 2B" mistake. I genuinley thought he was gonna flip it with the way his feet were setting.

That’s the worst coaching I’ve ever seen from Paul and oh boy have we seen some bad shite.

Complacency sets in. It’s contagious. When the coach hangs his head constantly and gives up on guys, some players lose their drive. It’s not ideal but it can happen when the coach has that attitude. It gets to the team… the staff… the admin… the fans. We are open 100% and there might be 2500 people here. It’s sad.
