Best of luck to him as he 'poured his soul and heart' out as a Tiger.

Former LSU Baseball outfielder Chris Stanfield recorded a record-breaking performance in the MLB Draft League on Friday. Playing for the Williamsport Crosscutters, he set the league record for stolen bases with 37. He swiped two bags in a 12-1 win over the West Virginia Black Bears.
Stanfield went two for five in the victory with two RBIs. He started in left field and batted sixth. To open the second inning, Stanfield reached on a bunt single then advanced to second on a throwing error. He stole home for the first run of the game during a rundown between first and second. Three innings later, Stanfield batted in two runs on a single to center field. He broke the record by stealing second base.
Best of luck to him as he 'poured his soul and heart' out as a Tiger.

Such an underrated player. I’ve watched the 2025 highlights 10,000 times and he was one of the most clutch hitters by far. Great dude who was always cheering on his teammates with 100% enthusiasm

Model teammate and represented the LSU brand with class on and off the field.

Great player and even better person. I wish every bit of success to the guy. One of my favorite players ever.

If Jay had let Stanny, Brown, and Curiel loose on the basepaths, would've had a shitload of steals.

Jay refuses to utilize the stolen base
