Yep. This is Herbstreit jumping at the chance to criticize us. He rode Ohio state and Clemson all year. You know it pissed him off to see his darlings lose

I'm not sure how some of you make it through the day.

He’s right

He's right about taking the celebration out of context?

Greg McClroy was there and said Odell drunk out of his mind begging to be put on TV...

on the radio this morning he said the whole money thing was big nothing and this was all Odell being Odell, "selfish"

Herbie is trying to make this about the LSU program...and our future?

He suggest Burrow doesn't care about the program after he shed tears about LSU and Coach O during the Heisman? how quickly people forget and judge

Herbie also says that Clemson and Alabama are somehow much better winners?

give me a break man, I mean really, I like Herbie but he's just off on this whole thing...

LSU knows it looks bad...and is addressing it

but pouring water on our celebration because a rich famous selfish former player comes in on the party, LSU nation has to take the hit?

naw, I am not down with that....

these are 18-21 year olds...

Herbie go address all the new dodge chargers in T town...tells us about money and winning

Maybe he should look himself in the mirror. Has anyone watched any of his drunken videos after a Saturday with Fowler?

Part of what makes Clemson Clemson is they play nobody and have a free pass to the playoff every year. They are aub/GA level that plays in a horrendous Conf.

I mean you are right but why put the pressure on the back lace that gave him a place to play. Yes im thankful he can to us over Nebraska and some other schools but I do think it was in poor taste

If it pisses you off, it should be because he’s right.

the way we celebrated this season has nothing to do with our continued success as a football program. if you agree with that take you’re a moron

if he had singled out OBJ and how that was a bad look then okay, that’s understandable. but he felt the need to shite on the team itself which is where he makes himself look like a giant douche rocket

It got security and the police involved, did it not?

Come on, man. This security guy or "cop" was obviously being totally ridiculous. The report I read said one cop said it was ok, but this other guy made a big deal about it and apparently got pissy. Threatening arrest? If anything is over-the-top, that's it. He could have just said they were going to have to leave if they were going to smoke because smoking is not allowed in there, etc. The guy used no common sense and seemed to be looking for a reaction.

I agree that the OBJ stuff was stupid and unnecessary, but he's not on the team and that wasn't the players fault. It was a spur-of-the-moment deal. During the post-game interviews on the field and immediately following, all I saw and heard was a bunch of happy guys handling themselves well and answering questions respectfully.

Herbie is right. It’s a stain and only one person can clear it up. Obj needs to clear it up. Put this to bed with a statement and if an apology is necessary then apologize and move the frick on.

Huh, don't remember seeing Bama alum handing out cash on the sideline.

I remember seeing a Bama coach going berserk on the sidelines again and again.
Did Herbie write about that?

No, the media picks and chooses what they want to show on TV and what talking points they want to follow.

None of it is a big deal at all, but I can see how someone would look at it in totality and try to draw "new money" conclusion from it. I disagree wholeheartedly, but I see it.

Lmao he said LSU was the best offense he had ever seen before the Clemson game was even played. he said when he is 80 talking to his grandkids this LSU team is one he will talk about.

Why does it piss u off? I mean he's not exactly wrong, especially about the Serial Attention WHORE OBJ? There was no UPSIDE to what OBJ did & he needs to grow the fek up for sure! But how can Herbstreit place blame on the Team or Coaches or Players? Unless he means how it was handled after the fact?

Initially I thought what Joe said was pretty funny & clever since he was hit w/that question outta the blue. Although today after seeing how much BAD pub 4 the Program it turned into I wish he wldnt have said it. I definitely dont think he had any malice & was taking a shot at LSU.

Bottom line the immediate Post Championship celebration on the floor of the Dome certainly could have done w/o the OBJ BS!

LSU and NOLA are on another level. The media and many other mfs not with the culture will never get it. News for Herbie and all the other weenies that's been hating, when we win our next one, whenever that may be, expect some of the same shite.
