Good ole homerism, Clemson has 2 National Championships since the 2000's we have 3 so I don't know how you can say Clemson is anywhere ahead of us right now

Odell didn’t sneak in. LSU is responsible for his actions on the sidelines and in the locker room. That’s just how things work today.

We all got a glimpse of Joe’s feelings about players getting paid back when there was an uproar about the new locker rooms. He deleted the post probably because he was told to. He couldn’t delete what he said on air and can’t be forced anymore anyway. Whether you agree with what he said or not you should want him to care and hope he does in the future.

I have to agree with Herbie. I also hope that Joe regrets his comments . While true it was uncharacteristic of Joe. He normally is a PR pro.

As for OBJ. ... no surprise. Has to be the center of attention.

Not surprised coming from him.

He was all LSU all year dumbass.

And he’s fricking right about Beckham and he’s right about Burrows comment. It was not a smart thing to say at all.

The Odell money thing is the only part of the celebration that was out of line. We aren't Bama robots programmed by saban to never enjoy ourselves. The cigars and everything else was fine, including Odell spanking the cop. Everyone needs to get their panties out of a wad.

The disappointing part is that joe so openly threw it out in the open which may be a blessing in disguise because it forces the admin to face the facts. Generally, dudes keep shite in house and internally police. There was something uncharacteristic about the loose public announcement that I can’t put my finger on. To be clear, I think it was all “in the moment” Excitement, but the initial responses from LSU and Joe were not a good look.

So hundreds of you dumb-asses think it’s OK to lump the entire football team in with the actions of Odell Beckham Jr. and talk shite like they all have no class?

Hearing it said was different from just reading the quotes. His tone was very dismissive of the program.

The only things that he could stand on to prove his point were Odell's antics, and a quote from Burrow. Beside those two things, this team did not act any differently than any championship team typically acts.

He even definitively stated that LSU will not be a top 10 team at the end of next season.

He's ultimately entitled to his opinion, but he'll definitely be proved wrong next season.

Omg an analyst made a negative comment and a drunk 23 year old said something that doesn’t matter.....SOMEBODY ALERT THE SENSITIVITY POLICE! ....A lot of you need to grow up.

Herbstreit isn’t right but he’s doing his job. Burrow saying what he said doesn’t matter. Listen to the whole interview. This is such a detracting load of shite from the greatest college football season. If you fricking idiots would just stop paying attention to the negative it wouldn’t get any traction and you could bask in this.

Clemson’s “ going to be back” because they substitute Wake Forest for Alabama and Virginia for Florida. Not because they didn’t have a former player have a manic episode in the locker room. Apparently that holier than thou Dabo crap is contagious. Herbie is better than that.

Although I agree with some of it, let the kids be kids. Sure, OBJ is an idiot. He’s that drunk uncle that’s fun to be around for a little while, but you’re glad he lives two states away. Cigars have been smoked after special games for years. They just had one of the greatest seasons ever with a Heisman trophy and countless other awards when some said we shouldn’t be top 10. Let em enjoy the moment. We’ll act like we’ve been there before when we have been there before... Life is short.

Do Burrow was supposed to deny it? Lie? Say no comment or what?

He told the truth. That’s better than making it worse than it already was.

Um...yes.

I think Joe had a few and wasn’t really paying attention to his words, and also trying to look cool for the Barstool guys. He was the king of the world Monday night, and I believe it got the best of him.

But, he definitely should’ve said “I have no idea what OBJ was doing”.

Kirk’s opinion has zero effect on the success of this program. So I really don’t care what he says.

OBJ shamed himself and that’s it. What did the PLAYERS do that was so wrong?
Smoke cigars? Literally every team does it after the NC WITHOUT being threatened with arrest.

Clemson smoking
