"injuries" didn't lose those games for LSU and those saying otherwise are just as bad as the "refs cheated" crowd. LSU lost both becasue they did not make critical plays in the 4th despite being in position to do so. End of story.
With the Ole Miss game tied at 24-24 in the 4th, LSU's defense couldn't get the stop after LSU tied the game to keep the game even. LSU's offense then couldn't punch the ball in to the endzone. Of course you'll get the "if LSU had Green they would have scored" crowd. But the reality is LSU didn't use him as a redzone target in the 1st two games, nor in the 1st 3Qs before he got hurt. While LSU MAY have used him in the RZ on its final drive, you can't definitively say they would have.
LSU had MULTIPLE chances to put the Kentucky game away in the 4th and they failed multiple times. Getting a 1st down on 4th & 1 wins the game. LSU chose not to risk it. That's fine. Then a stop on defense wins the game. They couldn't do it. Then a stop on defense in OT wins the game. They couldn't do it. THEN just a stop on the 2 point conversion wins the game in OT. They couldn't do it.

I have 100% faith in Coach Kiffin. I still like the play calls. Defense is not what it was at the beginning of the year because of injuries. I feel that Green could have helped some in the games he has missed. People have stepped up as well. Dont give up hope Tiger fans. There is alot of season left. Its just a tighter path no room to wobble much. I would not rather have another coach leading us with our back against the wall.
