Coincidentally all of your posts about him have a negative connotation, either about him personally, or his coaching

Except not really. I’ve said multiple times that I think he’s a very good coach, even in this exact thread responding to you. Personally, I think he’s a weird guy that does some weird things. I thought that before he was LSU’s coach and I still think it now that he’s LSU’s coach.

That’s the joke. He is back together with his ex wife and he still can’t restrain himself from messaging hot, young chicks on Instagram.

Never apologize for something that you aren't truly sorry for. Nothing of what he said was untrue. It was what he actually experienced.

Negative attention is not good for the brand. He better win or he's going to be crucified by fans all over and LSU fans will turn on him quick.

He apologized if people were offended by what he said. He did NOT apologize for what he said. In fact he stood on business, said it again, and said all coaches deal with that.

The Vanity Fair interview was an unforced error with many parts. At this stage of his tenure as the highly paid coach of LSU, whose foremost goal is winning national championships, he should be coached on recruiting and coaching. This is an unnecessary distraction for everyone. Anything dealing with race should be avoided. Now we’re dealing with apologies. None of this is helpful to the goals of LSU or the football team.

No athlete black or white gives a damn about the history of Ole Miss. It is the same everywhere. The only things they care about is how much NIL money they will receive and what their chances are of making it to the NFL.

He never said Oxford, MS is racist. Never said it. What he said is that there can be that connotation among black people about MS in general.

I made one comment saying why I think he is trying to temper expectations. That wasn’t really a negative comment on him, just a fact. The others are weird things that I think he does, which I have openly admitted that I think he’s a pretty weird guy.

I hope LSU plans to give our guy an army of security when he goes to Oxford this year. Those psychos over there might not let him leave.

Good. I am fine with Ole Miss looking bad regarding football and sports. If some players don't want to go to Ole Miss because of the history of Ole Miss and its old symbols then that is fine with me.

Houston Nutt said the same things in a different context a few years ago and not a ripple. I guess it matters who comments on it. Coach Nutt's comments were more pointed to the rebel flag, Johnny Reb, historical events. Flat out said it was hard to recruit black football players to Ole Miss, not Oxford.

I hear this so much on this board.

Do you really think LSU needs more attention "to the brand?" We're an extremely well-known football program by everyone in the country who knows anything about football. And we hired one of the hottest coaches in the country.

The LSU brand is already very well known. Any additional gains of brand awareness is marginal.
