Been wanting to see this guy make it big since he signed... Anyone think he ends up being a contributor this year?

It’s gonna be tough to crack the LB rotation with the 3 guys we currently have for those 2 roles, plus some of the other backups in his class that seem to be a little more physically gifted.

I do want to see him succeed here though as he’s been nothing but a great ambassador for LSU

Probably on ST but we are deep at LBer. He is only in year 2. Hopefully he sticks it out & doesn’t transfer to a smaller program

Whit, Dottery, Keys, Singleton, other Weeks are all ahead of him currently

Shout out big bro

I havent seen a single report that he's run with the 1s or 2s at LB all camp. So I highly doubt it.

Seems like he's at minimum behind the Weeks bros, Keys and Dottery.

Path to playing time definitely opens up next season though with Whit and Dottery both on their way out

Supposedly the young weeks brother passed him up on the depth chart. I thought they played different positions but what do I know.

I mean Zach appeared at LB in 4 different games while Keylan never made an appearance at LB, so that makes sense

Seeing that he redshirted last year, does he lose last year with 5 for 5 or does he now have 5 years starting this season?

Hopefully, he and some other 2nd and 3rd team guys can get some time during the FCS games while keeping our starters safe from injury.

Isn’t he Deshawn’s primary backup at Star and heir apparent?

Of all the positions outside of QB, it seems like linebacker is the position it takes the longest time to develop. We have had so many great linebackers that ended up in the NFL, that played very little till their 3rd or 4th year. Queen was the latest in the trend. White is one of the very few that was a true star by his second year.

Tough room to emerge out of imo.
- Whit
- Dottery
- Keys
- Zach Weeks
- Tylen Singleton
- Charles Ross
- Moses

Jimcoiley is listed as a LB but seems like he'll behind Spears at Star, and it sounds like Braker will mostly be used off the edge. I'd love for Moses to break out but it just feels like there's too many dudes in front of him to realistically see him get meaningful snaps
