Just pointing out the flawed logic being used to criticize him.
People saying he can’t recruit elsewhere have no knowledge. He builds his team in a talent rich state as he should, but he’s shown he will go to Minnesota to get a player if need be.
That’s all.
I didn’t realize it was that hard to comprehend
So, the suggestion that he can’t recruit nationally is ignorant but I expect we will see folks arguing that til they see his first signing class here

As I said before, if he is the hire then I support him and hope he does well. I was only asking because the new coach will have to recruit in a different way than Florida has to currently. That’s all. Not saying he can’t.

So do we. Not really but sort of.... Vitello has been remarkable.
Sully either has done a great job or shitty job this year depending on who you ask. I lean to the shitty side. I have no idea if he is moving on to LSU or not, but I think he has some tread left on the tires and will win bigly again be it red stick or hog town.
BTW, someone said he has no ties to Florida which is incorrect, he was born in NY but graduated high school in Jupiter, FL and considers it his hometown.
On one hand, you love the atmosphere that LSU has for baseball, but on the other hand, a few mediocre years at UF and no one is going to call for your head. He could be like Mike Martin at FSU if he stays at UF. LSU won't put up with that. If I were him I would use LSU to get a raise at UF and sign another 10 year contract. He is currently halfway though a 10 year contract paying him 12.5 million over the term.

Seems like woodward doesn't like up and coming coaches. He wants to pay too of the market. I think vitello is the right choice.
