Kevin Mawae clearly does not like Curley Hallman

Wow. If you missed his HOF induction speech it couldn’t have been more obvious if he had come out and said it. When addressing OL coach Larry Zierlein he put major emphasis on the word Godsend when describing his arrival. Partial quote is ”You were a GODSEND when you got to LSU in my senior year. Times were tough in those last three years but you brought me perspective. You showed me that a coach doesn’t have to degrade you, dog cuss you, and demean his players to get them to perform.”
Damn!!! I wonder how small Curley felt if he was watching. Mawae basically said: To Curley Hallman, frick you! without actually saying the words. Very telling.

I live in The Woodlands, Texas and did the majority of my grocery shopping in a Kroger store were we first moved here.I got to know a an employee who was Kevin’s cousin, of course she to in Hawaiian and said that his dream job one day is to be the athletic director at LSU.

Mawae deserved to win. He's a class act.

Who played at A&M. I honestly believe that you can only do so well as a coach at a school if you went to an opposing university and grew up in a rival state. Think D. Craig when he was here. I know that I could only do so well coaching at Alabama compared to LSU or another school in my home state or a school completely removed from my situation I.E. Michigan or Washington State
