I guess what they're arguing is that the NCAA should be telling the SEC (and B1G, etc) to stand down when new policy goes against a legal decision that binds the NCAA.

The SEC has 2 options:
Announce that all SEC programs that play ineligible players will forfeit their games
OR
They allow a one time waiver to the 5 for 5 rule to this one class since it was announced after they had to enter the draft
They opened this door by allowing Chambliss to play, and others are taking advantage of it.

Does the SEC or any other conference have to go to the NCAA before passing conference rules? Do conferences have the authority to adopt independent governance rules?
