Screw the press. Give em hell coach. Again if this was Saban and his rat poison speech, most of the people on this bord would be singing his praises.

but our running game and offense right now sucks.

Kelly knows this better than anyone. Let's hope the Tigers don't struggle offensively against the Lions so the back-ups can see some meaningful playing time.

the press conference after our first loss due to anemic offense will not be kind to Brian Kelly

Just because you are offended doesn’t make you right and BK wrong

it was a fair question

Which one? About the offense, about 3rd down, or the running game? It seems like Michael was using that time to prove a point and tripled down on BK.

BK overreacted, but as a reporter it seemed as though Michael went in there looking to poke the bear.

Nick Saban gave the same advice to Kalen DeBoer. He needs to protect his guys from unrealistic expectations. He did the right thing

This team isn’t losing this year. They took away the gayturds only chance to disrupt the game by eliminating their pass rush with quick passes. I wasn’t thrilled with the offense, but that’s exactly what BK was telling them. The PFF grades mirror that.

Not being the worst offense in the conference is “unrealistic expectations “?

Miles did the same thing except he would lighten it up quite a bit toward the end.

This is absolutely true.

But I also understand his frustration.

He had to pick five plays that this O-line could execute perfectly in its inexperienced state.

That’s why you are seeing the Vanilla play calling.

In two weeks against Ole Miss, he will have them ready for a more complex scheme.

No doubt he was trying to send a message, but he could have done it in an another way than playing the Whiny Bitch.

I personally could care less if some players get there feeling hurt because they are sucking. At this point these guys are making thousands of dollars, in some cases hundreds of thousands. EARN YOUR KEEP. A lot of these “new” Tigers are just a better offer from jumping to your biggest rival, ZERO loyalty.

Wait Wait Wait.

You made a post that the Head Coach needs to apologize in case he hurt the reporters feelings but can give 2 shits less about how the guys in the locker room that actually have to go out and perform feel about their head coach showing that he has their back.

the frick outta here dude. No way you played sports past little league.

OP is right.

Offensive performance was very poor. Own it, BK.

Same here. Kelly could have handled it better but so could the reporter. Absolutely stupid question for the first one. Especially in a game where you had 5 interceptions!

He doesn't need to apologize because he's the coach and he has a right to get pissed at a question. The problem is, as you say, the question Cauble asked is what EVERY fan is asking as well. So Kelly's response to Cauble was his response to every fan, and that's what's insulting about it.
