Kelly needs to Man Up and apologize!

What Kelly did to Michael Cauble was 100% uncalled for. If Kelly is tired of getting questions, that EVERY Tiger fan is talking about then too bad.

I disagree. Until we start pushing for sloppy journalism in all aspects of life, I don’t think interviewees need to be soft with the media. Right or wrong, they can post what they want. BK made him famous.

No he shouldn’t.
I personally don’t love BKs reaction post game but it is fairly obvious why he did that. He is trying to protect his guys and the locker room. Players that think the coach has their back increases buy in.
We underestimate how hard that is to achieve in today’s new world of mercenaries and $$$.
BK is calculated and knows he needs to say certain things to keep certain parties happy. And if Cauble is a victim because of it, whatever. He can cry in his car after the game if he wants.

No doubt he was trying to send a message, but he could have done it in an another way than playing the Whiny Bitch.
I personally could care less if some players get there feeling hurt because they are sucking. At this point these guys are making thousands of dollars, in some cases hundreds of thousands. EARN YOUR KEEP. A lot of these “new” Tigers are just a better offer from jumping to your biggest rival, ZERO loyalty.

I think 2 things are true:
1) it was a fair question.
2) it should NOT have been the first question.
The defense just dominated and had 5 interceptions and the first question was what went wrong on O? I’m not sure we had 5 interceptions all of last year and we just had that many in one game. Let’s talk about that first. Then we can get into the why is the O broken?
I didn’t care for Kelly’s response but it was clear he was trying to protect his players. A better response would have been that we realized they weren’t going to score so we went super conservative. We didn’t do a great job of executing the conservative game plan but we will improve. Or something like that.

This was comic relief for Kelly. Started out rough w dumbass 1st question after an emotional and hard fought victory against our #1 rival (in my mind). There were so many good things that came out of that game. He did not handle the question well for sure or could have handled it better. He later apologized in same press conference so that's already been addressed.
You could tell he was strained and on edge for most of the press conference. He needs to apologize for the ridiculous offensive play calling. That has to be fixed! Geaux Tigers!!!!!
