Worst WR corps and back 7 they’ve had in a while

They returned a Heisman winning QB,poached one of our best boundary corners and have had very good recruiting classes. Yeah they're not as good as 2020 but they weren't rolling out a bunch of chumps.

And Young was not good. He had that one scramble TD pass but overall he wasn't good. The LSU pressure had him guessing all night.

LSU did have a few “best player on the field” type guys that made a huge difference. For the most part Bama was more talented than us, and what isnt going to get mentioned is they had a huge depth advantage as far as talent goes. Our endurance and strength training allowed us to go toe to toe with them late in that game. Something that Bama has always plagued us with. Fantastic team win!!!

Team has heart, something that’s been lacking for a while. Feels good.

I'm not ready to automatically concede a loss to Bama.

As bad as last year was, the game came down to one inaccurate pass on 4th and 9 where Bech was open and the line needed to give Max 1 more second of protection to convert.

At home with a raucous crowd and a disciplined team (think of how many times Bama beat Les because of dumb penalties, etc.) just don't get blown out and we'll have opportunities to win in the end.

Not that talented as in only 39 scholarship players enrolled? Because that is where Kelly started 2022.

There’s no doubt about that, and that’s shown up since the FSU game. Now that they’ve cleaned up the penalties and mistakes, the heart can make the difference in these games.

Alabama is built on great WRs & OL and their WRs are trash & the OL is not up to their standard.

Bama is top heavy with 3-4 solid prospects but the middle of their roster is young

LSU has better players than you think & the talent drop is not that large if at all

Per the fans on the Bama board we’re not that good, they just happen to be worse than us.

Yea Gumps can no longer claim LSU needs best team in NCAA history / 1000yr flood to win.

Brian Kelly is the man we’ve been looking for all along.
