i can't give you the exact quote, but he said something to the effect that Daniels did better against tennessee as far as passing the ball (and you have to agree with that) but that this week was critical for him as far as improvement goes. my interpretation - kelly believed that daniels had talent that he and his staff could continue to improve, but that as we play the 7th game he can only hang with him just so far.

Hope. that's what i need. hope. If daniels improves radically i will be satisfied. if he cannot, let's move on.

He also, let everyone know that JD got 150 yards passing late in 2nd half when TN had backed off and was letting him have the short passes easily , Or did you NOT HEAR THAT?

i'm saying that kelly knows more radical improvement is needed, he still hopes that the light will go off, he's pumping up his young charge, but something has to give soon.

I’m about as optimistic of a person as you can possibly get regarding player improvement and Daniels isn’t improving radically. Just prepare yourself and accept it. Watching him play QB tomorrow is going to be like getting bamboo under your fingernails for 3 hours straight. I don’t know what his deal is or what kind of yips he developed somewhere along the way, but it’s right up there with the Jordan Jefferson era as the most frustrating quarterbacking I’ve ever watched

Great, if he keeps improving at this pace he might be mediocre by the 2024 bowl season.

I think you’re reading too deep into whatever the quote was.

The offense has been bad. No doubt. But…

If you do get what you “hope” for…and it fails worse than the product on the field thus far which has been 200 pass YPG, 69% completion rate, 7:1 TD:INT,…then will you please STFU and accept that this is a rebuild process?

Some of us are ready to start the rebuild. that means playing our possible future at qb. They need significant playing time in big games. Let them learn by failing, but also get the opportunity to get better, so we have a future next year and the next with these young studs. If they show they can't handle it and grow each game, then BK will know what he has to do for next year and beyond. I realize that BK wants to show how many games he can win in his first year. I get that, but I fear he is setting our future back by sticking with a QB that has no future at LSU, and may or may not produce the most wins for LSU this year. It doesn't appear that LSU fans will ever know . I am way past ready to move forward and take whatever w/l that happen. Nobody is ever going to remember or care if LSU, in a rebuilding year, was 4-8 or 7-5. It really is irrelevant by comparison of what future LSU will be forfeiting in the pursuit of max W's.

The difference recruiting wise between 4-8 and 7-5 is very big.

Daniels is a fourth year starter. He is not getting any better.

Until Daniels grabs a rabbit outta his arse I'm under the assumption BK was just giving us a line of BS. I hope I'm proven wrong.

Kelly is gaslighting the fan base. He has an understanding with Woodward that this is a rebuilding year, and he will play whoever he wants no matter how bad it looks. He is acting even more hardheaded than Miles was to show everyone it will be done his way. Personally, even though he has a great winning record at other programs, until he realizes that playing against the talent in the SEC is a small step below the NFL, he will not be successful in this conference.

Look up "gaslighting" dumbass.
I'm shocked CBK hasn't come directly to you for what's what about the SEC but try not to be quite so butthurt.
