Dude, Max Johnson was good enough to make him shine. He broke the all-time SEC single game record for yards in a game with Max QBing in his 2nd start ever. Boutte is extremely talented. He just needs a decent QB and a competent OC.
Also, you saw Nuss for all of 1 start with an incompetent OC, so please quit acting like Nuss is a complete bum.

The kid has talent and intangibles. There's plenty of time between now and FSU for him to further develop and improve. You're crazy for already giving up on him.

Yeah, I don't know if he'll play next year or not, but he at least has a really strong arm and can run. He was a true freshman starting against a ranked team with a poor play caller and no experienced elite WR to throw to. He made his mistakes and was inaccurate at times, but that's what true freshmen QBs with little experience look like usually.

All QBs take time to develop but like Max, I don't think Nuss is that talented. He might actually be worse than Max in a lot of areas. He's more physically gifted than Max but that's not saying much. Howard will pass him up just by his physical talent. Nuss lacks all the natural intangibles to compete at a very high level similar to Max did.
He'll get better for sure, but that doesn't mean he'll push LSU over the top at the highest level. I think he'll realize that, BK will realize that, and move on just like Max. If BK had any confidence in him he wouldn't target another QB here as a transfer.

That’s true. I just hate that we take dumps on some of these guys based on rumors. It’s BS. Also, some people around here act like they have never left a job before. Never moved to a nicer home, etc.

To be honest I never believed the Kayshon rumors, but him saying he’s taking the wait and see approach proves that they could’ve been somewhat true.
