Yep. Since the day he was hired he’s been working behind the scenes and looking for excuses to get his guy in. That goes for all 3 big sports. Hopefully he made the right decisions.

I get that, but if you think through it…

The NCAA isn’t a judicial organization. They can’t imprison anyone.

If you know NCAA basketball, then you know players are paid all the time.

So then, to your point, it’s more of the paper trail than the actual truth. Get a bag man, no paper trail, but it’s still the exact same for truth.

That’s my issue with it more than anything.

I agree completely. It sucks that people are doing the same thing and not getting in trouble.

Some of that is on Wades handling. Some is on us not being a premier basketball program. It’s unfair. There’s no doubt.

But I just can not put this on Woody for not fighting this fight. I can’t. I believe it would have been a losing battle.

I know everyone likes the idea of fighting this. And I think we did. He’s had the tapes out there for all to see. It wasn’t until the paper trail came up that I believe this would have been a losing battle to fight. So I’m ok with moving on.

I know a lot of people are saying Woody did this to save football or woody did this to bring in his own guy. And the bottom line is we don’t know any of those things as fact. It could be that Woody and the administration was just sick of the media side show and wanted to start fresh. And they heard enough.

We know it’s not fair in the reality or truth of NCAA basketball, but CWW gave us hope. I’ve been an LSU basketball fan thoughout from Dale and and Will be forever. It just sucks.

Serious question? Before a few days ago did you know Will Wade was paying out of a person checking account? After he had said repeatedly he was “clean”.

The 2 cases are different, but hypothetically, if the NCAA strips Kansas of this years Final Four in 2 years, who gives a frick? That's why LSU should have played out the string with Wade this year and then fired him.

What most of you dolts don’t understand is it has nothing to do with Wade, Self, Kansas or the freaking NCAA. It has to do with what LSU looks like to most everyone else. It has to do with the integrity of the institution itself. It’s setting a president of what won’t be tolerated. The new standard.

That being said, I agree with terminating Wade and O but I don’t like the selection of any of the damn coaches hired accept Mulkey.

If you thought Wade was a good coach you don’t know BB. Athletes alone can’t get you a sweet sixteen every year. And just how often did we stay in the top 25 under Wade? It’s a done deal Wade screwed the pooch and lied to the boss. You should direct your hate to him for getting LSU into this mess.
