Have to believe he will be called up to AAA soon. Probably around the All Star Break

Those 2 have to be the best pitchers to be developed at LSU since Jay was hired. Otherwise, Yeskie hasn't done much since '23. Skenes was already a freak.

Yeskie wasn't here in 2023. Wes Johnson was.

Eyanson spent two years at San Diego, and Anderson didn't require a lot of development.

The Mariners typically bypass AAA for their star pitchers

It’s more likely he stays in Arkansas and joins the big league team for a late playoff pitch

The only thing holding him back is the Mariners have a very good, very deep rotation. They’re keeping him roasting in AA until an injury or slump in the bigs

Passan also said a few days ago that he didn’t think they would bring him up before the trade deadline and he was untouchable from a trade perspective. Called him Generational and annual All Star. He also said they need more innings from their starters.
The fact is the Mariners are PUTRID vs LHP and aren’t going anywhere unless they make some trades.
BTW - I was reading that Gausman may be part of a trade should the Jays decide to dump.
Would be good for him.

Yikes. They both got better at LSU. It’s weird when people like you try to discredit the coaches.

Kade was so good that last yr at lsu.

He is so hard to hit from that angle coming from a lefty.

Kade hides the ball very well to go with elite up/down and side to side command with multiple pitches, including an above average but not overpowering heater. That is a nightmare from a lefty, especially against wood bats and even elite pro hitters.

It would be nice to see how he stacks up against AAA hitters. Their AAA starting pitchers are garbage so there is a place for him at that level. I really think something happens around the All Star break.
