Their AAA starting pitchers are garbage so there is a place for him at that level
Of course there's room. Again, their elite prospects skip it entirely because of how they are developed (and a hitter's park/altitude in a hitter's league is increasingly incompatible)

Learning about their "Pitching Lab" and their philosophy with AA ball is good reading

Pitching in Vegas, Sacramento, El Paso, Salt Lake City, etc must be a fricking nightmare. And it’s so far removed from what’s it’s like in the majors. With the obvious exception of Sacramento.

They may still have him pitch a game or two in Tacoma before getting to the majors to face better hitters and to use the MLB baseball, which I don’t think they use in AA yet, but they do in AAA.

But it will be when they have a favorable schedule that doesn’t put him in one of the really bad environments.

Anderson didn't require a lot of development.

Really? You seemed to think differently his freshman year. Of course, this was in between you saying the 2025 would suck and saying Jay Johnson was a fluke all during the 2024 season.

Might want to back up and rethink that one, Mackey.

I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and went to an Aviators game to see Tommy White play. Final score was 26-13. Starting pitcher for the other team gave up 14 runs in the first two innings - his manager never budged from the dugout.
