He tweeted that with a picture of him in long sleeves on the field. Meaning he's gonna be the starter even with a transfer in his opinion

did he mean Long Sleeves are in, or long sleeves zone?

We've never done well with a QB wearing long sleeves.

The team and everyone knew O was going to bring in a transfer a quarterback no one expected for LSU to hit the jackpot though. So it looks like , With a lot of Ohio State fans thinking this guy should’ve played last year that’s really saying something that at least he does have talent he just got caught behind 2 Heisman trophy hopefuls.

Guess he's planning on transferring up north. Good for him. He wont be getting any playing time this year if Burrow transfers.

Watch JM transfer after Burrow chooses not to come to LSU.

Hey if he does that because LSU was trying to do what the coaches feel are best for the team, then bye Felicia!!!! No room here for pussies!!! If you are afraid of competition then WE DON'T WANT YOU OR NEED YOU.

Brennan is like a buck seventy five soaking wet and Narcisse hasn't been tackled since like his JR year in highschool. So yes, we need him.

What is our new offense? Do the coaches even know what identity they want the offense to have? What makes Burrow so perfect for whatever the new offense may be?

Good questions.

He's still better than where any of our QBs are CURRENTLY.

Why is this shite tolerated on a football team? I'd kick his arse off for that tweet. Or really any social media. If you want to play scholarship sports at the SEC level, then you forgo your right to voice your opinion to the world, about the inner workings of the team.

This is the segment of the fanbase that fricking sucks.

He's grad transfer eligible next year. But he's not going to transfer because of competition.

Boo fuching hoo. If he’s scared of competition then good riddance.

At some point it isnt about "being scared of competition"

Its about feeling the respect from your coaches on a position you think you have earned

The QB needs to have his teammates respect and trust. And if you "win the position", and the first thing your coach does is run out to get someone else, it isnt exactly a ringing endorsement......

I am not saying O is wrong for trying to get Burrow, but not everything is as cliche' as yall want to make it

McMillian "earned" the starting job? When did that happen?

Good grief, man, did you even watch the spring game? None of our QBs are good - the coaches know it - and now they're looking outside for help. And this wasn't because of one spring game. One bad game can be overlooked, but I guarantee you our coaches knew this throughout the spring, and we just saw the evidence at the Spring Game.

I think Ogre was a horrific hire.

That said, if we can upgrade our QB spot, you darn well do it.

The only thing that might be on Ogre in all of this is if he has been babying our 3 QBs and trying to handle them with kid gloves in fear of one or more transferring. (Since he tends to tell anyone what they want to hear, I'm thinking this is likely.) Ogre needs to tell them this is big boy football and that everyone is going to do what is best for the team to compete.

I dont think anyone is at fault here.

I am simply calling the people out who are trying to put this on McMillan for being "scared of competition"

McMillan fits right in with a long line of LSU QBs who spout off on social media whenever their status as starter is in question.

A long line?

I remember Brandon Harris. Who else?

Hey Justin. I own a business . I make a very nice living. My competition tries to bury me every year. Every year I win. Some day I may/will lose. That’s the way the world works. Nobody is “ toying with you “- they are just exposing you to REALITY. You are a renter- not an owner. Your spot at LSU is temporal and not permanent. I’m Team Justin. I want you to succeed. But the truth is going to find you even if you run from it. Just keep grinding like a winner grinds and good things will happen.
