I guess you forget last season against the bears, in an overtime game he had 2 snags for 27 yards.

He’ll be okay. It was mccarthy’s first game on the road on MNF.

He will have a down year but still be around the 1200 yards and 8 tds.
that sounds about right for JJs passing stats this season.

Ove coarse you try to stand by this shitty post, have to save face somehow. Good attempt to cherry pick stats but conveniently leave out the TD.

I still don't understand JJ being a first round pick. Michigan had a game where they believed in him so much that they didn't throw a pass in the second half

Actually, McCarthy showed some grit. He was terrible in the first half. Rams coach knows what he is doing. He has resurrected a couple of qb careers.
McCarthy came from behind to win the game. He ended up throwing 2 TD's and ran a gritty one in. He is going to be good!!

You probably should go stand on a ledge. So many idiots here that don’t know ball. Judge a guy on one half of one game lmfao

Completely meaningless.

That’s like saying you wouldn’t draft Patrick Mahomes because Brandon Harris beat him in a bowl game

Did you not see Jefferson's 25 yard drop >> should have been at least 5 - 70

McCarthy is awful but minutes before halftime he only had 1 target. I think he went into halftime with 3-4 but you gotta get your best offensive player involved more than that.

I think he finished the game with 7, that numbers gotta be over 10.

Wearing those stupid chains during a game ain’t helping either.

Swimmers shave body hair to gain a millisecond edge, but a wide receiver wears chains?

I admit I jumped the gun JJ Mccarthy looks like he got it together in the second half. I started this thread last night right after the pick 6. Yes I started a this thread aged well post so I get all that I deserved in this one

Sloan, take notes. Nuss can do that.

Uh, no. Nuss would have tripped on an uneven blade of grass or ran into the WR and had a "butt Fumble". He's not that fast or aggressive enough to do that.

I just want him to run for 10 yards when there isn't a Defender 30 yards away from him. Instead he throws a 50 yard jump ball.

He was smiling and laughing on the ESPN post-game show.
