That’s not what the distinction says.

Not to mention, in his own words, sankey specifically said it was those that chose to leave, not those that chose to leave and sign a contract.

The LASC actually has made an incredibly germane ruling on a very similar topic.

Glad to look at it. Glad to be wrong on this if I am.

Could you shoot me a cite? Lot of Jones cases.

Well none of you have stated it.

Unless things like “standing up to the SEC” while accomplishing nothing is what you’re talking about.

Sec giving argument now. Ruling should be soon. Then there'll be about 20 threads on the main page

This hearing is about the players not the schools. Sec has not threatened to punish any individual players.

Preposterous argument. They're constructively penalizing players, and they know it.

then instead of referencing the contract, post it. like post the entire contract directly so we can read it ourselves.

It’s in the SEC’s brief. I’m at a junior high football game at the moment but I’ll find the cite when I get home.

I. Don’t. Care. About the language of the rule. I’m saying LSU is stupid for pressing this (and we are, and yes I know we aren’t a named party) because there are zero possible positive outcomes for LSU. None.

Well…
I.
Do.
Care.

So what. Being opposite of your opinion makes me feel even better about mine. This needs to be pressed and resolved for the players sake, pesent and future. Go sit in the corner and wait for the judge to rule and give his opinion, it would be best for all following this that you did, especially yourself.

Lsu is not pushing it, it is not lsu taking this to court, it is the players...LSU is just the school that some of these players have committed to..if LSU would not have offered the Ole Miss players, They would have committed to Ole Miss that also offered them. So why isnt all schools involved being held to the same standard?....Kiffin and Lsu has said that they will comply with the court ruling regardless of if it is for the players or against....it isnt LSU that filed the suit....

BS. It has EVERYTHING to do with the players!
