My speculation is the BOS has some recognition of WW's value as an employee. The difficult situation was created by WW being caught on wiretap and tapes being leaked. BC he is a valuable employee you don't want to fire him. But, bc he can't explain his side (on advice of counsel) you suspend him and wait for FBI trial to end and hope along with it, WW can explain to NCAA and LSU gets little or no repercussions.

As someone who loves to post on this subject you show that you have no basic understanding of the facts.
The DEFENSE issued the subpoena. They plan to use him miller and McDermott from Creighton and possibly others to illustrate that the corruption in basketball is widespread and that the charge of bribery is ridiculous. The FBI doesn’t care about Wade. They are not investigating wade and in fact they don’t even care about the recordings as they don’t want them admissible

Is it possible that the BOS wanted for Wade to speak to them so they had a reason to fire him for cause? This way they don't owe him the 9 mil remaining on his contract?
