don't misinterpret this, I am in no way an O guy, but you're ready to can someone, no questions asked, that is, just based on the info in this thread, third party hearsay? you're strict!

Matt's really the only one at Guaranty willing to go at O but that's mostly because he got cut off from that regime from the start because he was the only one banging the "O doesn't deserve the job" drum

Woodward has a good idea of who would be interested in this job. If he pulls the trigger on Orgeron it's because he thinks he can get his guy.

Woodward is the same guy that signed off on all these contracts bro.

Well, I'm just waiting to see whether the secret "for cause" binder shows up or the booster with the $25-30m check shows up.

Orgeron is under an active Title IX investigation. Is it still a secret?

overreact much? shows classlessness and lack of self control, traits everyone knew O has, that in itself is not a termination offense, especially in the coaching profession

Showing up at the private residence of a booster looking for a fight is absolutely a fireable offense for a college coach.

I’m honestly disappointed with Hester

Very much so. Also, Hester clings on hard to his college and NFL glory days every single day since he's been with Guaranty. Hester hated talking about the LSU baseball coaching search this summer because it interfered with his dog days of summer storytelling time.

I can't see him being let go before the last few games of the season. Like him or not, he did win a championship here in the last 2 years. However, if he can't correct the ship, I won't be here pounding the table to not make changes.

We don't know if we just lost the PAC10 champs or not. Similar to the feeling some had last year about state and were catfished. UCLA seems to actually be a good team that we played at the wrong time. I do not think we would lose to them if we played again later in the year. Max was under pressure often, but he also didn't pull the trigger several times that he should have either.

Don't think we see any changes until the last part of the year since no other coach would be available either.

The DOE is not investigating Coach O.

I had 10 excuses ready last year. Covid, shortened season, tougher all SEC games, opt outs, 2019 GOAT CFB season, etc.

We haven't improved at all from last year. Our defense looks as lost as they did all of last year with Pelini as DC. Our offense is still completely one dimensional and getting destroyed on the line of scrimmage.

Not to mention the Title IX shite and our head coach that is acting like a pissed off teenager every time he goes anywhere. I'm done. I wanted it to work out, but its clear we need a change in leadership.

What part of my post where I say twice that this has to be vetted and verified do you miss?

If it is true, then the admin has the audio/video of everything.

There's an obvious solution to this. Promote Ensminger to interim. I have to think once O is gone he will likely hang it up. We know he doesnt want the HC job.

This is absolutely the right call, as E would have no interest in being the future HC. If someone on staff is promotes and gets max effort short time for being the anti-O, LSU fans tend to get emotional and pressure the admin to make the interim the new hire. You don't want that with any of this staff.

The department of education has nothing to do with coach o.

LSU isn't getting out of the contract, buyer's remorse is still buyer's remorse.

Just throwing out there that Culotta said on his show that there is a video of the incident at the fishing camp. He described in detail what the video shows. It's not third party hearsay. The bottom line is if there is video of O showing up to someone's house or camp looking for a fight, it's not a good look for LSU.

I really hope so. Because we’re gonna need someone really good to reestablish a winning culture and get back to LSU football.
