He’ll be back next year. Kid has no quit in him.

Will he get ANOTHER year for medical?

Hate it for the kid. To go through so much adversity to get back on the field. Lsu definitely meant everything to the kid. Hoping for a smooth recovery.

That sucks for him. Another big play and just as we are all celebrating him the injury comes back. Who was his doctor? Really sucks.

Well now at least he gets to come back for a 19th season.

John Emery out for season again, with another torn ACL
Just more proof that CoachO made a deal with a shadow man in order for LSU to be so good in 2019.
In all seriousness, sucks for Emery because he was looking good Sunday night.

Emery done again, just ... wow.
It reminds me of a Sports Illustrated article decades ago; it was about Evander Holyfield and his training. At the time he looked like a bodybuilder, and worked out with one (someone famous, I forget who it was). That guy remarked on Holyfield, because although they looked similar, Holyfield could do things that the other guy said would rip his muscles and tendons apart.
Emery's gotta be like that bodybuilder- he can get big, and he has skill; but his body just can't handle the stress he puts on it.

People keep saying "rest of the season". Is this the end of his career? Or does he get some sort of injury red shirt?

Prayers up for Emery. I hate that so much for him

Mr. Durham please step forward. Time to shine. We will see him this Saturday. RB room is officially thin.

I want to donate to a Go Fund Me for Emery. Not sure if that's even allowed but my heart is shattered for him. I met him literally 2-3 days last year after the ACL tear before he even had surgery at Matherne's. The manager Lisa introduced me to him as John is a regular for their hot lunch line. He talked to both of us for a solid 10 minutes which he didn't have to do, but knew we were concerned over his injury. Just a cool young man.
Eta: No more bitching from me about the USC loss or anything else for that matter. This puts everything in perspective for me and I'm just going to enjoy this season for the love of my Tigers.

This hurts, I felt like this could have been his year……

just terrible news! Wish this young man well. He's definitely learned the life lesson of perseverance.
