Wouldn't a season ender be career ending for emery? Isn't he already in his final year of eligibility or would he have a medical redshirt?

He’s about to be in his 4th season. He gets a Covid gift season AND a redshirt (2021) season after 2022

He could gray shirt this year , red shirt last year , use his COVID year , and play 6 more seasons

As long alas we have e the line to block we have plenty of athletes that can hit an open hole. RB is the most replaceable position on the field.

I told everyone he wouldn’t play another meaningful down for us. Sorry, but it’s his destiny

Wow. When he heals, keep him in a red jersey until September 4th kickoff.

Good thing Cain arrives in time for fall practices.

If Emery is not ready to go this fall, let’s hope Kiner, or Goodwin has taken a step forward.

Don’t forget Armani Goodwin and Tre Bradford. We have plenty of depth at RB even if the Emery injury is bad which I hope not because I would hate it if we never saw him perform much at LSU as highly as he was recruited.

No redshirt year for being academically ineligible per NCAA By-Laws (2021 is a lost year of eligibility for Emery). But, he would still have the option of using his covid year if he wants to return in 2023.
