I really don’t understand why people are so desperate to love Joe Burrow the person. He’s my favorite LSU football player ever on the field but it’s fine to admit that the guy is a total weirdo who does weird shite in his free time.

He’s just an odd guy between the fashion obsession, hanging out with Michael Rubin and trying to be a clout chaser at these creepy celebrity events, and he acts like he has severe autism. His answer to that question was completely bizarre considering a lot of NFL guys like Tyrann Mathieu were making bets with teammates week in and week out and religiously keeping up with college football while they’re in the NFL.

If you met a plumber with his exact same personality you’d be like “get the frick away from me” and everyone reading this knows that’s true. Again, love the guy as a football player, very much appreciate his contributions to the program, still wouldn’t want to grab a beer and hang out with him

JB sounds completely disinterested in what is going on at LSU. Wonder if he even knew BK was fired, or gave two shits BK was fired?

He did say LSU for his school during the line up intros for last weeks Thanksgiving night game though. Progress on that front. Remember when it was a big controversy whether he would pick a side between LSU and OSU?

Also a good point on O. Wonder if we did bring O back as d line coach if it would bring Burrow around more.

I imagine Burrows give zero shits about college football or LSU in general at this point. I can tell you first hand fans take losses a whole lot worse than players do.

That’s really not true at all. Like others have said, he is locked in on his team right now, just like anyone that wants to be the best at what he does should.

It’s well documented that he loves LSU, people aren’t imagining that. I don’t get this type of vicariously pretentious position you are taking.

Dude has been crushing rehab for the last 2 months and is solely focused on getting his poverty stricken franchise to the promise land. He doesn’t have time to worry about things that don’t affect him. And I applaud him for it.
