6'5" G/F - Played her first two years at Arkansas. #7 overall out of highschool, McDonald's All-American. Seems like a great pick up for the team.

Is this a depth piece or does she have potential? She has been there 2 years and only averages like 5-6 points per game at 6’ 5” . I haven’t seen her play

I like physical bigs to matchup with SC’s depth.

She’s a wing, not a big. Being that size and trying to play the perimeter is interesting.

#7 overall recruit and McDonald's All-American, so she must have some potential. Freshman All-SEC, though her numbers dipped her sophomore season, and she completely sat out this season. I have literally no idea about Arkansas's women's basketball program, if she was blocked by better, older players, didn't have the coaching to develop her properly, or if she was hampered by injury. No matter, I think the 2 obvious weaknesses of this year's team is the lack of a true point guard and depth. She's not gonna help the PG situation (though I did here somebody mention she can handle the ball a bit for 6'5" player), but if all she adds is another experienced player to the rotation that can be trusted to give good minutes without a big drop-off, that would still be very valuable.

Or maybe Kim sees something in here that she thinks she can unlock, and she becomes a starter or 6th "man" who can come off the bench and give 8-10 points and 5-6 boards. This year's team could have desperately used that. We'll need to get more transfers, but this is a nice start. Especially to grab in the middle of the tournament.

Mulkey recruited her at Baylor so she’s familiar with her.

Good pick up for you guys. Neighbors, the Arkansas head coach is absolutely horrible and there’s no reason he should have a job here at this point. She sat out this entire season because of Neighbors.

She should fit in nicely for your Lady Tigers.

Will be interesting to see if LSU also gets Taliah Scott. She was an excellent freshman this year that’s also in the portal.

Always good to hear from someone who probably has no axe to grind...locals IMO are the best source for transfers. Because as you can tell by the other posts already, they aren't familiar with her and obviously neither am I. Thanks for the info.

It looks like they could really use Poffenbarger. A big with 11 rebounds a game and 2,6 blocks per game.

How Arky was not much better makes no sense.

I trust Coach Mulkey when it comes to WBB talent. Great addition for next year. Now let’s go win another natty this year!

But Mulkey is mean and a bully. Why would she want to come play for her. People will melt when nothing becomes of nothing and the women continue to be a top basketball team.

Freshman All-SEC,

Often times, these selections are meaningless, at least in my experience.

I remember one particular case where a player started every game for her team, which was admittedly bad, as a true freshman and was in the top 10 in the league in rebounding and blocks, top 20 in scoring. She was left out for a player on a good team who only played in garbage time in half her teams games, but was a highly touted recruit (and also the daughter of an NBA player).

I have one on the AAU circuit now, and in no galaxy would I allow her to play for Neighbors. Which sucks, because I want her to go to Fayetteville.

Jersey is a combo guard, she’s not a post player

I wonder if that means she will be a redshirt with a couple years of eligibility remaining rather than a senior with only one year.
