It's interesting how Kelly and staff have integrated former players into the program vs how O did it. Not shitting on O, it just seems like differing philosophies

I’m interested to see how much Burrow is incorporated.

I thought after his rookie year he was going to have a great NFL career, sucks it played out differently.

He was one of my all time favorite Tiger RB's so I followed him on twitter for years until a year or two ago. I guess guys have to just not read comments because Bengals fans were ruthless and don't know how to let stuff go. He could tweet about Mario Kart and the only comments would be Bengals fans hating on him for fumbling the ball in the playoffs.

Absolutely. I remember him winning it for us. He is absolutely great on Hunt palmer’s show.

He destroyed Iowa single handedly.

Well LSU had that game won. It was 4th and 16 or so and Chavis played very soft coverage and Clemson converted. I can’t blame Miles for that.

Clemson ran 100 plays to our 50. I'm not exaggerating.
Defense had held up pretty well but got gassed.

And our offense had a bad 3 and out before their GW drive. Not absolving Chavis per se, but some more help from the offense would've been nice.

Not sure why it didn't pan out for him.

Lower body injuries after his 3rd season killed him.

I also think MIxon coming on strong during his contract year hurt his exposure plus he hurt his ankle.

Miles put Clemson on the map that night in GA. We had about 10 ways to win that game and one way to lose it and. Miles found the way. By that time Miles was already dead to me. Wish we had fired him that night or after a couple of Ole Miss games he pretty single handedly lost. Would have saved us a ton of money and the humiliation that was the 2011 NCG.

Would've beaten Clemson but miles decided to keep the ball away from him in the 2nd half

Only on the rant... Did you watch the game? The rant spent 12 years bitching about Miles running the ball into a box.
Clemson had loaded up the box and LSu was getting zero push in the 4th quarter.
Miles had Mettenberger with Jarvis and Beckham single covered. But its always cool to bash Miles. I keep forgetting anybody can win 9 games every year at LSU.

Only on the rant do grandpas still defend their terrible fired sexual assaulting coach. If he gave hill the ball, they win easily. Period.

Anyone know if this guy's middle name starts with an A? If so it would be a solid 2,000 year old call back!

Almost didn't even see Ol Nick there he kinda blends into the wall and after finally seeing him was completely confident he was the H2O maintaining executive.

Man, I loved watching Jeremy Hill run for the Tigers. Dude was an absolute beast!! His rookie year in the NFL was pretty good, too. He's your typical case of elite college RB that gets some lower body injuries in the NFL and winds up with a shorter career than expected. Sadly, too often the case at the RB position. This is why the position is so devalued in the draft these days. :(

Jeremy seemed like he had a 40 plus yard TD run in every game he played in.

Two things:

1. Burrow isn’t from Louisiana. He’ll come back when the time is right, but he’s probably not anywhere near Baton Rouge most of the year.

2. He’s very much still in the rising half of his career off. The guy is in an AFC loaded with young QBs and has the chance to be the best of the best. He isn’t spending a whole lot of time messing with college kids.

Love Burrow and he loves the Tigers, but his situation is different from the Fournettes and Hills of the world.
