And just needed one carry against Clemson to end that game. Over 10 ypc and 0 carries in the 4th quarter. Damn Miles pissed me off that day.

Anybody else notice how small our RBs are this year?
Both LF7 and Hill look like giants standing next to these dudes

One of the hardest parts of loving this game is seeing promising young careers (esp. RBs because of the nature of the position) end earlier than they should

I recall it seemed like he was strongly considering coming back for his senior year. Maybe it was just an asinine Rant debate, but it seemed legitimate.

Having a backfield of Hill, Fournette, Hilliard, and Magee would have been filthy.

He was LSU's entire offense, and should have carried the ball 50 times. Hill ended up with 28 carries for 216 yds, 7.7 ypc/avg., 2 TD's. Hill's first carry of the game was for 42 yds. setting the tone. His last carry was the game winning 35-yd TD run

Seemed like he was always good for at least one breakaway td run per game.

Me too. He really should have had a longer career. Not sure why it didn't pan out for him.

2 down backs that aren't absolutely stellar don't have much staying power in the modern NFL. After he tore his ACL in New England, his career was pretty much done

Yeah, prior to his injuries he reminded me a lot of what they have now with Mixon, which is obviously very good.

Makes me miss the old rushing attack LSU had. It was so much fun to watch. Not as fun as 2019 offense but we will never see that offense again.

Would've beaten Clemson but miles decided to keep the ball away from him in the 2nd half

Well LSU had that game won. It was 4th and 16 or so and Chavis played very soft coverage and Clemson converted. I can’t blame Miles for that.

LSU won that game vs Iowa in 2013. I think the final score was 21-14. You must be thinking of Saban’s last game in 2004.

Jadeveon Clowney wanted no part of tackling Jeremy Hill that night

That cut he makes in that Arky clip is crazy. He is 4 yards past the CB before he even starts to turn around - ha ha

What happened to him in the pros? Injuries? He had everything NFL team could want in a RB.
