Really glad JD5 is coming back. With that said, he needs to work his arse off as far as his confidence/decision making goes in relation to throwing the ball (I know...stating the obvious). BUT, the kid is mature and is a leader so that's a huge positive. I love Nuss and his arm strength, but he's an uncontrollable loose cannon who makes HORRIBLE decisions in the heat of battle. I'm talking throwing off handed-off of his back foot underhanded-while being spun around-...and being pummeled by 3 DLs-type shite INSTEAD of just throwing the ball away. I'd start JD5 over Nuss 12 out of 12 times.

"The difference between 2018 Burrow and 2019 Burrow, was JOE BRADY. Meet back here December 2023."

That's a stupid comment!! The difference is Joe wasn't scared to throw the ball when the plays were called. Especially with one on ones. Brady might of called in the play, but the QB is the one that has to make it happen with the receivers. I truly think it was the other way around. Joe Brady and Orgeron looked good because of Joe Burrow. Put Joe Burrow in this past years offense and you would have seen passes down the field all year.

Great clip! Now he just needs to do that on a consistent basis. Not just 5 highlight clips throughout the year. Sure he can throw it but didn't do it enough. I have seen progress though so hopefully he let's it rip next year, or we won't win a natty.

"If Jayden were to make it to NYC, there’s a few people on here who will need to be on suicide watch"

That would mean that he actually finally got over his fear of getting intercepted and actually started throwing the ball. That's the only way he makes it to NYC

"The key to Daniels' improvement is the development of our running game; it was not good last year."

The key to JD development is to pass the ball down field or we will never have a running game. Lol.

Our backs averaged 5.3ypc and gained 1,484 yards. The backs were productive they just didn’t get enough opportunities.

this makes no sense.

Teams were already stacking the box because of JDs running ability. What would a better (really more traditional) running game do for you?

He had time, teams were not playing deep coverage. JD needs to let the football go, it's as simple as that.

FYI I think he will be better, just not dramatically better

Dude, just stop. Go back and watch the tape and then watch Nuss vs Southern.
Seriously, if you blatantly make shite up it makes me wonder if it’s about something other than football.

We get this fixed, sky’s the limit for this offense.

(And yes this is somewhat of an oversimplification, but y’all know what I mean)

My statement above compares Joe Burrow year 1 vs Joe Burrow year 2. It's not a comparison btw Burrow & Daniels. It's a fact that Burrow under Brady, was better than Burrow under Ensminger. Take your time when reading, and before you use the word stupid. Lol

It's not that he can't pass. It's his reading of defenses and throwing receivers open that is the issue. Everything is a come back route or just a fly route letting the receiver go up and get it.

His reads have to be already open for him to throw it. Which kills yards after catch. It's also easy for DB's to squat on it, which is why he is hesitant.

In 13 games this season, he averaged around 210 yards passing. (Which isn’t great)

He had a stretch of 3 games where he went absolutely off and the rest were pretty average throwing games.

His passing is lacking for sure and certain.
He is a run first QB, I prefer a pass first QB, history proves their superiority
