Walk up music.

Posted by Commanda on 5/15/26 at 7:49 pm
It’s no secret that Mr Curiel has a woeful ear when it comes to walk up music but it got me thinking…. What would your walk up tune be if you could play one when you walk into work each Monday?
You can be who you want and what you want but the line is crossed when you expect me to accept or value what you believe in. Be who you want and do your thing but don’t tread on my values in the process.
I will appreciate results and not talk but thanks for your appreciation I guess…

We have a qb on a rookie contract and old money is expiring. If our qb holds up we can add the pieces to complement him over the next few years.

Very dumb takes - who do you want better than Jay. We will be back. Been a long time since we struggled this badly but it’s also been a long time since we had two nattys in short order. We have some good young talent that is going to be stellar over the next couple of years.
When will bystanders learn to go the other way and not film during altercations. Hey let’s all go stare at the sun. World full of morons.

The problem with voting for change is that the other choices in the ballot are crap as well. Anyone that wants to change the system or has values will get squeezed out by the machine already in place at any cost, and they are evil. They will do anything or sacrifice anyone to stay in power. It is a downward spiral that can’t be fixed with the current system.

One topic or subject should not and will not sway my vote in one direction. We need proactive and not reactive. We also need a leader that doesn’t support our elected officials signing NDAs with private companies instead of representing their constituents. He like most of our other politicians will protect the good ole boys and make sure they get paid before we are represented. Just one mans opinion of our governor.
Not smart enough to know much less respect the history of lsu bb. Should be kicked…
Count you chickens after they are in the frying pan
I formally give approval to Jeff Landry to take 10 dollars of my wasted tax month each month and give it to LSU athletics.

I’m in the minority and I am ok with that but justifying wades behavior by saying others do it too is a poor argument. Just because multiple people do it - doesn’t make it acceptable. The other issue is someone in a position of authority should exhibit a certain value set but like in most cases we default to just winning or profit at the expense of everything you say you stand for. It’s all just talk at that point. If he cheated and pushed the edge before why wouldn’t he do it again? With that being said I can buy that fact that he may have earned a second chance. Time will tell. I’m ok with the downvotes but the leaders in a place like LSU should be just that - leaders. To some degree this all illustrates the value set of our governor and some of the boosters making the calls. Values and integrity may not be important to many but for me Wade has to earn all of this praise with actions.

Carbon Capture Legislation

Posted by Commanda on 3/31/26 at 7:11 pm
According to current legislation, industry can take your land for carbon sequestration. If you do not agree to their price they can take you to court and a jury will set the price. Typical La politics - industry owns our lawmakers and in typical fashion they have never represented their constituents. If this doesn’t wake you up - nothing will. Carbon capture is the biggest money making scheme on the current agenda and is not rooted in science. This is a basic principle of right and wrong - votes count when subjects like this surface.

BATON ROUGE, La. (LSU Manship School News Service) - A bill to prevent the state’s use of eminent domain to support carbon capture storage and pipelines failed 12-7 in an extraordinarily tense House committee hearing Tuesday, March 31.

House Bill 7, authored by House Speaker Pro Temp Mike Johnson, R-Pineville, marked an attempt to reverse a law passed in 2020 allowing the state to seize private land to bring more of the projects to Louisiana
Worst take I’ve read. What are the real chances wade can win a natty? Compare that to the chance Jay has to win another.

How can we fund all the sports - the money comes from the same place. Plus 61M in buyouts. When it is diluted and wins aren’t coming donors are going to be so free with their money.
