It was fine when it was new but it has run it's course. It's like a gimmick to use for one season but shouldn't be a program tradition.

I don't know specifically about this, but in the pure pay-for-play era and with a lot of out of state kids that don't bleed purple and gold, he certainly needs to change his approach to motivation.
