Jay Johnson will be fired in 2027

This is my prediction. His record will be so bad the powers that be will have no choice.
He threw the entire portal class from last year under the bus for underperforming. Said he wouldn't recruit that way again. He's going to build his teams from the ground up. Seems to me he's still recruiting the same type players via the portal.
He's not that good of a coach. Too much lineup changing. Trying to fix it himself.
Tells the press what he wants them to hear and they don't have the guts to ask tough questions.
Seems a lot like CBK and we know what happened to him.

I will never understand discrediting what Jay Johnson has already accomplished at LSU. It’s sickening to me people like you exist around here.
It would be one thing if he won 1 Championship in 10 years.
He has won 2 of the last 4 Championships. He doesn’t have back to back down seasons. He is at his best following disappointment. Even Skip has said what Jay Johnson is doing in this era is more impressive than what he did.

I just do not understand why there are a few posters that have it out to hate Jay Johnson. There is nothing to indicate next season will be bad. And if you think this portal class is anything like last season then you aren’t paying much attention.
