Uninformed and illogical take on the situation.
I was as disappointed in the season as much as anyone else. There is no doubt in my mind that Jay bleeds baseball and is even more annoyed with the way the season went. Hindsight is always 20/20 and it is clear most of the group added just didn't perform at the level they were anticipating. We didn't seem to have a couple guys rise to a leadership role.
Many factors but still have to say the players have quite a bit of the weight to shoulder. For goodness sake, they are now getting paid significant dollars.

You cannot be serious to think LSU would IMPROVE its baseball situation by firing CJJ and hiring Schlossnagle. Schloss has won zero titles in a career that is longer than CJJ's I think.
1. Jay Johnson is not gonna have a team that repeats 2026.
2. It is utterly stupid to think we would fire such a successful, hardwworking head coach. UTTERLY stoopid!
