Pitching was one of their main problems last year. He changed NOTHING with the Coaching Staff and didn’t bring in any stud/“can’t miss” pitchers.

This post is way off and just plain dumb.
First off, LSU Baseball Team is losing around 20 players this summer off of the 2026 team. 8 through portal transfer, 9 are out of eligibility and 3-4 to the MLB draft.
CJJ has about 20 freshmen in the incoming class, of which he expects 10-12 to make it to campus and be a part of next year's team. The rest will most likely sign MLB contracts.
So, to make up the difference, he has signed 8 players from the portal so far and I expect maybe 1 or 2 more pitchers may sign.
This put us real close to the number of players we had on last year's team.
When CJJ recruits, either through the portal or HS; he is always looking for the best players and players that will fit LSU's program.
He is doing exactly what he needs to be doing at this time.

and he is keeping Yeskie. Why should we expect better pitching under his guidance. Rinse and repeat. Hope we have a great year hitting with RISP, because if we don't, I don't know how we can expect anything better than this past year, even with new personnel.

I expect a better team next year because I think they'll have better players.
And wasn't Yeskie the pitching coach for Anderson & Eyanson? Paul Skenes too?
If Yeskie was not a good pitching coach, then I firmly believe CJJ would make a change.
