Leadoff: wants them to walk and hit doubles. Wont swing at balls.

2 hole: Likes to bat his best player here. Doesn't want him left on deck in the 9th inning in a close game.

3 hole: versatile guy, usually a left handed hitter. If one of the 1st two guys do their job, he is coming up with a hole on the right side

4 hole: a little different for him. Will hit with runner on second with 2 outs a lot, will hit with 1 & 3rd with 1 out. He has to be able to put the ball in play. Guy that can hit a double & handle the bat

5: If he comes up with bases loaded and 1 out, he wants the fear of god to be in the pitcher

6, 7, 8, 9: Will matchup with whatever pitcher is going that day. In order, he will bat whichever player will give the best at bat higher than the next guy. 9th guy will be least competitive of the bunch with 6th being the most.

All that said, your best guess of the lineup lol

If that's how you read it then you are looking for things to be upset about.

We have so much firepower at the plate this season. I’m downright aroused at the thought of it.

Berry is a switch hitter so that also provides you a left handed batter in the 3 hole.

I think this might be it myself. Morgan at leadoff makes a lot of sense to me with his ability to get on base (right behind Crews last year), hit for doubles (T-1st last year) run the bases (1st in steals) and he hasn't shown the power of guys like Crews, Berry, Doughty, Dugas (6 HR vs. double digits for all those others).

He has thought more about his line up than PM did his last 3 years at LSU. This is a good sign.

Yea, his discipline and speed combo make me lean towards him as the table setter.

At points last year he was almost taking to many close pitches because his eyes are so good, he didn't take into account how atrocious some of these umpires could be

As leadoff?

Last year Doughty was 4th on the team in doubles, 5th on the team in Walks + HBP and 5th on the team in OBP% (significantly lower than Crews, Morgan, Dugas) of guys who played on the regular.

Doughty is definitely that 4 or 5 spot in this lineup.
