He has a losing record ? Didn’t realize that! Last I checked they had winning record.

Coach Johnson will get this thing figured out. It may not be this year, but I guarantee that he will right the ship next season.

I believe in Coach Johnson but it better be figured out by next year… You don’t get multiple years of this BS when you’re at LSU. This is LSU we’re talking about after all…

. Teams with just average talent rarely if ever make the CWS.

There are teams with superior talent (almost every season) than those who do make it to Omaha.

It's seldom the eight teams with the most talent. IMO, Jay needs to add that to his coach portfolio.

Jay used to put in long hours in the office preparing for opponents and recruiting. You haven’t heard much of him doing that this year.

yeah you did, if you wanted to pay any attention.

when Kelly was getting fired all the reports were that our baseball coach was putting in more hours at the office than the football coach was during football season.

No doubt he’s elite. No doubt his guts are churning every second of the day thinking about how fricked up this season has been.

He has his work cut out for this offseason. He is going to have to replace the good players leaving, salvaging the ones other teams will throw NIL money at, and find a half dozen studs.

If he can turn this shite-show around in one season I’ll be shocked.

Saban never won with average talent in football. No one gave two shits because he always had the best talent. Also, getting to Omaha isn’t the end all be all. Give me Jay’s resume over Dave van horn any day of the week. Winning win it matters means a lot.

I think Jay has had some elite talent and we are seeing some concerns others have previously pointed out. Very interesting season

Those disingenuous "concerns" were pointed out in 2024 and then he won a title in 2025.

Now the team is bad and it's back to saying Jay is a bad coach.

Jay obviously isn’t a bad coach but I think it’s fair to say that he’s done a bad job this year. He’d probably say the same.
