Very excited to see him come back. Could be a huge boost to a depleted staff

Huge piece if the Tigers are going to make a CWS run imo.

This is big. I'm interested to see how many batters he faces.

I think they can afford to slowly ramp him up but anything he contributes is going to be valuable.

So, could be huge for us. Let’s see what they do with him, I dont See anyone going 6 inning against a midweek team, but a quality outing would be nice to see

No pressure. Sheesh. “Hey kid, good luck. Your start tonight has Omaha riding on it.”

Maybe just an inning or two. Smart to let him start so he can take his time warming up and getting ready. I like this.

If he can go 2-3 good innings I’d be happy. Honestly just happy we’re getting Coleman back in action above anythint, I’m sure there’s gonna be some rust

Oh yeah that’s a good point. No rush warming up in the pen.

Yeah hard to see him exceeding more than like 30 pitches in his first outing of the season

Im sure it will be similar to Little last week. Set pitch count of 30-40 pitches

I'll be shocked if he goes more than 2. This will be a slow transition.

If he goes 3 innings, I'd be ecstatic.

I'm guessing he probably goes a single inning.

It’ll likely be a count. 25-30 pitches.

I cant imagine it is more than 1, the pre game warm ups, a little live action then see how he recovers...or they already did that in simulation and we see him throw 30-35

There is no way they pitch him more than an inning but this is big

CJJ uses his pitchers on Tuesday with a 30 pitch count cap when it’s likely they’re going in the weekend. 2-3 innings is likely twice that amount
