It’s frustrating to know LSU coasts to a NC with a decent defense this year

And instead, we field, literally, the worst defense in LSU history.

BK would be 2-10 without Daniels

Let that reality sink in

JD5 is pretty much our entire offense. Think about how many times he has scrambled to pick up significant yardage and/or a first down.

We completely lose that next year.

Next year's schedule includes USC, UCLA, and the typical SEC gauntlet including Oklahoma. If the defense doesn't make massive improvements, next year is going to be ugly.

Uhhh, his receiving corps is strong, he has a top level OL and TE, and the run game has improved significantly. What if he played for a team with shite receivers and RBs??

Kindly list the teams that "coast to a NC" besides 1995 Nebraska and 2001 Hurricanes // I'll wait

All hypothetical that we'd have 1 loss or perhaps be undefeated but no team is "coasting" to a Natty

Yeah, but what about the 15 years where we couldn’t field an offense with a title winning defense?

Who would have ever thought LSU would be dead last in defense?!?

Hell a mediocre defense and we win Ole Miss.

If we just had a bad defense we would've beaten Ole Miss. Too bad our defense is awful

Completely agree that no team coasts to a championship. The last one to do that was probably Nebraska. Miami in 2001 had the BC game where are Reed returned a pick towards the end of the game and also barely beat Virginia tech by 2. Typically, every championship team has a few games that could go either way. 2019 had Texas, Bama and Auburn that all could have ended in losses

And good coached teams adapt to their players strengths just because Nuss don’t run a 4.4 don’t mean the offense is gonna be shite.

Although losing in Tuscaloosa sucked the Ole Miss loss was the worst. So many D errors and blown tackles that just 1 good play - just 1 FFS - would have ended the game as a W.

CBK is smart enough to know he wasted the best QB he ever had.

I wonder how House and him get along? CBK always talks about championships and House cost him a great chance to get one. All we needed was a 50th or better defense and we would have a great shot at winning one.

It's not all Houses fault though. Kelly is the head guy and.it ultimately falls on him that his defense doesn't know how to play basic defensive football.

Man it sucks to have the #1 offense and the #103 defense.

Only 1,000 yards rusher on the team right now too.
Offense will be much worse next season. And the defense may show little, if any, improvement. Hard to believe but the defense may also be worse next season.

Enjoy what is happening. Quit crying over spilled milk. Nothing we can say fixes it, so revel in the glory of a really awesome offense.

He's special. But we don't lose all but 2 games just because of him. Just like we don't win every game just because of him.

Next year, if our defense is improved, we win 10.

This. Just because Jayden ran for first downs doesn't mean the offense was inept and had no other option of getting that first down. Or that we couldn't throw it away and pick the first down up the next play. This nonsense is a backhanded jab at the rest of the team.

Really?

Who out of Grambling, Army and Georgia State do you think would have beaten us?

Our shitty defense held Mississippi State to 14 and Auburn to 18. You really think we lose to both without Daniels?

I’ll give you Missouri and possibly Florida and Arkansas as additional losses
