It's been a few weeks...screw the ESPN app

Go to sign in... error..event has ended... no shite. The baseball game I was watching Sunday has in fact ended. Exit out, let it refresh and scroll through 20 games because God forbid it learn my preferences. I've only been streaming exclusively LSU baseball for years now... click the game only to find I've been signed out...happens at least weekly after all. Select youtubeTV, sign in, enter....glitch. select youtubeTV, sign in, enter...glitch. stay stuck in this cycle before finally getting to the game.

I scroll down to the channels & pick SECN+
Seems quicker than looking through all the other lice stuff

Or...and hear me out. An app from a brand as huge as ESPN can have an algorithm like every other app in existence that learns preferences

I can't use the ESPN app on my phone. I have an android *and* my TV provider is YouTubeTV, aka Google. And yet when I try to get verification of my YouTubeTV account through the ESPN app, which means verifying my Google login, Google rejects the ESPN app as an unauthorized sign in. The problem is with the app.
So, my workaround is to open up chrome on my phone and select desktop browser mode, and it lets me authenticate and watch via the phone browser.
Fun stuff.

They should rename it the ESPN “basketball plus other sports” app. Also full of 30 second clips from their talking morons.

Good Lord I'm so happy I only care about the two major sports (football and men's basketball). I have ZERO problem finding and tuning into 99% of those games.

My ESPN app on iPad showed it was blacked out. It worked on the LSU Sports app, but constantly buffered. I then went to the ESPN app on Firestick, and it's worked without a glitch. Who knows?

Go to ESPN+ at the top tab.
Select baseball.
Go to the LSU baseball game shown in the live tab.
If there ever is an issue, simply sign out of the app, close the app, sign in again, and follow the steps above to watch the game.
I have this app on 4 TVs, phone, iPad, and desktop computer at my office if there’s a game during the day.

I've watched a million games at my house on my Roku without one single issue ever. I'm at my parents and tried to get it through their ESPN app that's on the TV and it has constantly kicked me out. After the third time I switched to their Roku and haven't had a problem since. I've seen people suggest that apps loaded on the TV may be an issue, and after tonight I believe it.

Yep. I just watched the games this weekend, but when I get on to watch the game tonight I have to sign in again. I have never had to re sign in on Netflix or YouTube or Disney. Only espn.
