Well we already have 1 L so that means going 22-8 in this SEC. Would be an epic season if that happens

I predict 18-12 in SEC play. This ball club will win some close ones

Outside of Missouri, I don't think there is a team in the conference that isn't capable of winning a series against any other team in the conference

Remember that Missouri swept Florida last year, and only got swept by Tennessee, Arky, and Vandy. They had a couple of close losses to Ms State, Kentucky, and Auburn that could have gone their way with a few lucky breaks.

This is the SEC, and this is baseball. On any given weekend, anything can happen.

You were probably one of the ones making reservations for Omaha this time last year.

I think I have to update my prediction on their record, I really only see Texas, Tenn and aTm as contenders. It is hard to see LSU even lose 10 games this year before the regionals. This is a hell of a team and pitching is very strong.

Are you on drugs?....this is the SEC AND it's baseball!!!!

Baseball isn’t only about talent. Baseball demons tend to pop up along the way and take games the more talented team should have won.

I think this is a great LSU team that will win a lot of games but I’m not taunting the baseball gods like you.

Missouri is worse this year than they were last year. They hit as poorly as they did, but they don't have any pitching this year either. They won't go winless, because that's nearly impossible. But they won't win series against the best teams in the league.

Also, Florida was extremely dysfunctional last year and nearly didn't make the tournament. If we block one pitch on Saturday against them, they wouldn't have made the tournament.

We've already lost 1 game and play 4 more before 30 games of conference play plus 8 mid-week non-conf games. Then we have the SECT, where it's likely we lose at least 1, potentially 2 games.

Lets say we drop just 2 more non conference games out of the 12 left which would be great. Lets say we only lose 1 SECT game to get knocked out there instead of 2 losses which would be tough but possible to do. That means you expect our SEC record to be 24-6...There has been 1 team to achieve that or better in the last decade in the SEC. The TN team that won the national title last year went 22-8 in the conference.

So odds are, you are off a bit

I see this team going 17-13 in the SEC. I doubt we will sweep any series we play...maybe Mizzou. And we will definitely lose at least one series.

You do realize just how tough this conference is and how many nationally ranked teams it includes, don't you?

You can't count your chickens before they hatch with SEC baseball. We lose on arm for a couple of weeks and we have to rework the rotation. That could easily coast any team a game or two, aside from the fact that sweeps are REALLY hard to get in the SEC.

We aren’t that good, I’m hoping for 20-22 wins in the SEC. Which will do all we need it to do, but could see 18 wins which ain’t bad in this conference… 28 wins ain’t happening…
